The honor of a talk with Ara Trembly
About Ara Trembly
I am a psychotherapist and Christian counselor who has been in practice for 19 years. My therapeutic approach hinges on the idea that the God of our conscious life is also the God of our unconscious life. My particular areas of research include dreams and dream interpretation, marital issues, as well as interpersonal stress and its effects on both mental and physical health. In addition to providing psychodynamic therapy, I have hypnotized more than 1,000 people and can speak to the effectiveness of this mental health modality, which is not a means of entertainment.
About Dr. Flavio Shares and Flavio
Most people don’t struggle because they don’t know what to do.
They struggle because their inner system is overloaded.
When stress, heartbreak, trauma, illness, or long-term pressure overwhelms the nervous system, even capable, intelligent people lose access to clarity, emotional stability, and self-control. Sleep breaks down. Focus disappears. Relationships strain. Habits spiral. Life starts to feel harder than it should.
This podcast is about restoring that inner capacity.
Hosted by Dr. Flávio Souza-Campos, MD, PhD, this show explores how the human nervous system, mind, and emotional architecture actually work — and how to bring them back into regulation when they’ve been pushed too far.
Dr. Flávio is a physician, biomedical engineer, and hypnotherapist who has conducted over 44,000 private sessions helping people stabilize after burnout, heartbreak, chronic stress, trauma, and major life disruption. His work is not traditional talk therapy and not medical treatment — it is a short-term, structured hypnotherapy process designed to restore nervous system regulation and decision clarity, so people can think clearly, feel steady, and move forward again.
In each episode, you’ll hear:
• Solo insights from Dr. Flávio
• Conversations with physicians, psychologists, and human-performance experts
• And real-world stories from people rebuilding their lives after overload
Together, these conversations explore what really breaks when humans become overwhelmed — and what actually restores us.
This is not self-help hype.
This is not pop psychology.
And this is not endless therapy.
It is a grounded, clinical, and deeply human exploration of how to get yourself back when life has knocked you off center.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I know what to do… I just can’t do it anymore,”
this podcast is for you.
Blessings,
Flavio
